Why Our Wash Process Is Best

Each week you will receive a bundle of fresh diapers…sanitary, PH-balanced, and as soft as can be.  We thought you might like to know more about how we do it:

First, the soiled diapers are loaded into a large commercial washer/extractor.  The wash process begins with three warm to hot rinsing flushes to remove soil.  After the soiled water is extracted, a high-temp, hot suds cycle lasts approximately 12 minutes. This high temperature accounts for most of the whiteness. Unlike most home water heaters that are set at a maximum of 110°, our hot water cycle is a sanitizing 160° degrees.

The next 44 minutes include five hot (160°) rinses, six extracts, and a nine-minute hot bath with a de-stainer/sanitzer.  The last rinse is warm (120°) and includes a softener and rash fighter, which PH-balances the diapers so they are perfect for baby’s bottom!
